You just used someone elses worked and turned it in to a brush and slaped it on. You havn't done anything yourselfe, I don't think that's gonna help you improve. The least you could have done was to smudge or somethin so we wouldn't notice.

most people start off making sigs like this :/
yeah man that was kinda messed up, he's just starting out, and he's getting better...keep it up wolf you're gonna get good soon enough...
Thanks for sticking up for me Graffight and l hope l do improve like you say lol :D
just a quick question Wolf
how did you blend the render, did you feather it?
If you did then you did way too much. I set it to 10 ox just about and then continue.
If you used an eraser you just want to go around the edges a bit.
I use the polygonal tool set feather to 15 and make a shape around my render ill try setting it to 10 px and see what happens look out for my next sig and tell me what you think it will be a 10 px one.
I wouldn't categorize it as "horrible" :)
Your trying, and your listening to others suggestions, that makes any sig in my mind have a couple extra +.
The background -
Is too repetitive, I'm not sure if that was a large brush or an image to begin with, but the design is not too great.
That render is a soft anime character, it's wearing armour though so possibly a light solid background with some swift brushes added in the the direction she's facing
The render -
It looks like you've selected sections of it and lowered the opacity.
A simple way to blend is use the smudge or blur tool, on a decently small set size, first blend the edges all around the render. If you wish to have further parts of it blended continue with slightly larger sizes so you can't see the actual brush strokes of the blending.
There are a lot of other ways to do blending, it depends on the style and options you want/have.
The text -
That's more of a tech brush. An oriental or a simple slightly curved text would suit this better.
That's all for now, keep it up! ^_^
