the second one is too big you want that to transfer across i'd definatley suggest choosing another font, the spacing between the characters is too big, i'd suggest making that smaller too (i'm doing this kind of thing in my class at the moment)

This is what I like and I think that atleast to an untrained artistic eye, it would look appealing. The idea isn't to cramp the entire logo/logotype all into one little corner. That's where I started and I wasn't completely happy. I wanted a distinctive typography that could relate well to both an older and younger generation of people so that my clientelle wasn't restricted. If you have another idea for a font to be used, suggest it to me and I'll test it out and see if I like it and if it conveys the proper message to my target audience.
Thanks for the comments up until now.
IMO, it fits the theme you were going for ;)

I know it still needs a lot of work, sizing, refinement, and colours and that kind of stuff, but I just wanted to get a base down and bring it here. Comments?
tie outside the shirt would be better I think... seeing as how it is white tie photography and not black shirt photography, lol
the full deal with the overcoat though and such looks like pwnage
and on the type, you might want to adjust the 'w' a little so that it appears to line up better with the 'p'... I know it already is lined up, it just looks a little awkward like that cause the w is thin on the left and the p is thick on the left so it looks.... unbalanced.
