You guys know that 100% of all the world's serious scientists think that the greenhouse effect is for real, right? Not enough proof my ASS! My father is a professional in this area and has travelled to Italy and Germany to talk about the global warming. I am pretty active too. People who still are unsure just hasn't gotten all the facts yet and that upsets me.
The Live earth concerts was a great idea. I hope more stuff like this will come up soon.

I agree with Rabies.
And even if you're skeptical about humanity's impact on the planet's warming and cooling, we should still try to take care of it to the best of our abilities. Get rid of that big-ass SUV, plant a few trees (my journalism teacher's one of the wisest men I know and he's planted over 1000 near his house), and instead of denouncing those who think we're heading towards a real crisis, I'd recommend promoting alternate energy research and green living because we're ALL fucked if we (everyone on the planet, but mostly China and America) don't stop tearing through the non-renewable fuels like oil and natural gas, which in turn release those emissions which have everyone up in arms.
Two birds with one stone. Or solar panel.
p.s.- Live Earth was awesome. The Police rocked my socks before Kanye West made me vomit.

I agree with Virtue, partially...I think.
I'm not into the "Oh dear god, global warming!" but I do support saving the environment and protecting it through various ways. I don't really see why people have such big trucks when most of them don't use them for anything other than looking cool. There should be laws that restrict owning such large vehicles for no use whatsoever.
As for The Police...they did rock, I love Sting. And then Kanye West came and destroyed the world with his voice.

Lol know what kills me though? Why are these fucking hypocrites called artists are performing at a protect the earth concert..? Aren't they the ones driving around in hummers and SUV's and shit? Seriosuly if they want to protect the earth maybe they should start by getting a hybrid instead of ANOTHER FUCKING ESCALADE.

That wasn't really the point. Without the music, the message wouldn't have reached 2 billion viewers and then it would have been all for nothing.

It can be taken both ways, some take it as a free concert, others as a good way to spread the message on global warming. Personally I think events like these really do help. There is no denying that the world is warming. Some people need to wake up.
