Thanks =D it just kind of come to me in a flash, the effect doesnt always work but it can have a good effect if u tone it down like what i did for this one, althought it has too much ripple

=( you should post your outcome and ill try and see what u did wrong
On the step where you wasn't sure on whether or not it was 'Image>Apply Image' you would first have to create a new layer. But a good tutorial. ;)

thats cuz u dont need a black background, it comes out either way =P, and yes i know i messed up a few steps, it was my first shot at a tutorial... ill get one up here again as soon as i get my new graphix card
