Yeah thats the thing, you know how to use your camera etc, and you know colours and lighting, its just a case of practise

I need to start looking at lighting in pictures and work with people more; Id say generally my composition is good (this wasnt as good, certain areas dragged your eye away and there was no visual clues leaving a message), my colour is good (obviously, not in black and white photos), and I know how to use my camera :P

Its really just a case of going for it, and what your doing; organising fashion shoots, band shoots, etc is great - most people applying to photo schools are well, not experienced enough.

You might want to take a look at film photography and developing, it all depends on what the course and school is like.
