I forgot you had the 17-40
Yeah thatll look badass on the 5D :) Like a 11mm on your 350D
Still the 5D MkII would cost say, £2k, the 70-200 and 85 are both 1.3k
Id probably go for the 70-200mm, then buy the 50mm F/1.2, but thats just me.
I want Pentax to bring a FF out
The older F/FA lenses (from the Film SLR days) would work with it fine
and they wouldnt have to release too many new ones
they could have it sorted by next year probably.
And the FA* and limited are HOT lenses, the 31mm and 77mm etc.

I will register a company soon. So I'll only have to pay 75% of the price, or something like that. When buying expensive equipment, that makes a pretty big difference. :)
Register a company and subsequently pay 20% of everything you earn to the government, wooo
:)
Nah thats actually a good idea, cause you can claim the VAT back etc, and all your work will be protected.
[edit]
fuck that lcds huge :D
shame they had to move the buttons on the left
I wonder what thats done for the egonomics, its probably fine though.
I figure Ill stick with Pentax for the time being
If when I become more serious and want to become a full time photographer, it will probably mean me moving to Canon/Nikon, simply for the FF professional cameras (Though by that time, Pentax may have one out, we shall see)

the problem with opening a company is paying tax on so little equipment wouldn't be wort the price you would pay for the equipment itself during the time it's used and the time they bring out a new one, along with the times you have to pay tax.. so unless you plan to have some productivity within the company rather than just make it to save money but alas.. hope you actually make a company.. you can hire me to sit in a room and pretend i'm cool for a bit
..unless that job has been taken..
anyways cool camera.. my concern lies in how little time it takes to make these advances since i was convinced i wanted a 350D a little while ago, then the 400 came out and again the 450.. i just couldn't be bothered since all the advances seem so needed.. i think the 350 had no backlight right? i just wouldn't bother until one comes out i believe would suit my needs to no end

Hehe don't worry I know about all the problems. Though as I'm freelancing I have to have a company. It's not just to buy stuff cheaper, I'm not that naiv. ;D Of course I'll hire you.
