Jimmy Paige, jon donais, Hendrix, joe satriani and John Petrucci from Dream theater
Rusty Cooley < the god of sweep picking, Slash < i love his style, definitly made GNR one of my fav bands, Ry Cooder < awesome blues/classical, Malmsteen < definitly a great shredder, Joe Stratini, SRV, Steave Vai, BB King, Zakk Wylde, Dimebag, Erno Vuorinen from Nightwish, i could go on for hours but those are some of my favs.
i think the best guitarist would be John Petrucci from Dream theater.
i like the guitarest from soad because he does some fast shit
