Plus it's a remake, everyone in hollywood is scared to come out with something new, because all they are in it for is the money. If it had been this way forever, there wouldn't even be a war of the worlds, or sadly not even star wars.Quote:

The whole movie was about the family running for the lives.
In the end.. the crows ended up saving the freaking day.
When the alians would shoot the people with there lasers.. the people would be gone.. just nothing, but there clothing would fall from the sky like it came out of the freaking dry cleaners.
A good 20-25min was them in a basement with some dude, running around cornors and junk.

psh.. this movie was great except for the ending. Lots of people dont like it because there are some parts they dont understand.. but if you pay attention enough it turns out to be a great film... except for the end. and plus if you dont like the movie you obviously havent read the book. everything in there is true to it except for the family part.. but the attack and all that is. Read that and it clears up alot of questions and youll like it ALOT more.
this movie was bad.. story line was horrible id go with the original one over this one anyday
i didnt think it was good at all, it was seriously lacking a good plot
aliens come and kill ppl, they run away, aliens die. the end
i put the entire plot into 1 line, sad.
i thought it was pretty great.. i've never read the book, but i would assume that they couldn't have changed the plot that far away from it
but i could be wrong
