How would you know if he sent them though? Unless you have the hack where you can read the pms people send or someone told you how do you actually know that he sent pms advertising?

No they only allow that if you dl a hack for the forums, i think its stupid to use it basically because if the admins can read the private messages whats the point of even having them? Taking away the privacy from private messages is stupid.

Metal shouldn't be reading any private messages. If anyone has a problem with spam (or anything else), they should just forward him the message. They're called private messages for a reason, and most admins at messageboards I visit respect that privacy.

Well., Metal is the owner of the site, as the owner I feel he has the right to read them if he wishs. not like he does unless need be. he has better things to do.
But, If you have something to say that you need to hide from the CX admin/owner then use MSN,AIM,ICQ,IRC or some other instant msg system or email. Its not like other members or staff have access to your PM's
Really I doubt Metal reads your PM's. You have nothing to worrie about.
