I think that the SNES is the best of all time..simply because of Chrono Trigger (there was a sequal to it for PS but I don't remember the name..wasn't nearly as good either..) I think that the dreamcast was an alright system..except really screwed up! It had some good games and one of my favorite RPG's of all time, Grandia II. I loved that game a bunch. The bad thing about it was that both of my controllers had rips in the cords..causing them to mess up..A LOT!. You have to admit that Dreamcast did start some things though..like the little things for the memory cards..they had an LCD screen..pretty cool..if you knew what to do with em..It ALSO came out with the colored buttons of ABXY..No system had those four colors before the dreamcast came out..to my knowledge of course..Xbox..my second fav system sorta cheated out Dreamcast..if you noticed..they have similar button layouts and also the same colored ABXY's...so all in all SNES schools any other system..and I don't like PS2 much..I only play certain games on it..such as FF series, Ratchet and Clank series, and Jak and Daxter series..thats all..
PS: You must admit that Dreamcast also came out with Crazy Taxi..which was a really original game and a fun one at that..

gamecube for melee greatest sequel to a fighter ever made
definately not the 'greatest' but one of my fav's indeedy..I don't know what the best would be..but it's not SSBM at all..it got really old within a few months..
yea, melee was ok but not the greatest.
oh man i love melee well... loved...i played it on N64 and i got gamecube just to play it...good memories...well now i like Socom II for PS2 online and im really addicted to it as you can see my signature down there|

yeah...I got the NGC just because of SSBM..was a great game at the time..died out really quick though :(
BLP! Very nice taste you have! I personally just beat Chrono Trigger for the first time (the remake of it for playstation). The second game was called Chrono Cross, and I actually liked it (besides the point that it really had nothing to do with the first one).
Both great games, both great systems =). I have like many systems though, including the SNES Model 2 (rare, and newer).
I've beaten Chrono Trigga 8 times atleast..all my characters are like level 80+ :D
