heh, i knew you would psot on this :D
i like a lot of fantasy and stuff, but lately im getting into John Grisham and James Patterson, im 13 but im a crazy reader. the da vinci code was prolly one of my fav books even tho its chock full of lies :(
im gona start reading that, but im uin the middle of reading some atm so.. oh and like you, i read loads too, and im only 13 - yet i only seem to read the same style, fantasy - i need too get reading other stuff
Hmm... all time classics would include:
Farenheit 451 - Ray Bradbury
War of the Worlds - H G Wells
Lord of the Rings (+ The Hobbit) - J R R Tolkin
The Foundation Series - Heinlen
Dragonworld Series - Ann MacCaffery
Stainless Steel Rat Series - Harry Harrison
Dune - Frank Hurbet
and then there is the best all time Sci Fi, which depends on theme so:
Footfall - best all time invasion earth book
Jack Ryan series by Tom Clancy
Red Storm Rising - Tom Clancy, one of the best modern war books
I mean I could go on for ever. There is no real best ever book, it realy depends on what style, subject etc that you can decide. Sorta like asking, whats your all time fav. movie?
/end Rant
Dantes Inferno ranks up as one of my favorite books, because of how dark it was. Another favorite of mine was 'The Giver' - just an amazing book.
The sad part: I know what he's talking about. <_<Quote:

lol @ minor. i am also a huge fan of clancy, reading splinter cell, the bear and the dragon, and a couple netforces at the moment, i just fineshed "the lake house" and "when the wind blows" by james patterson, AWESOME series. . .or not really, more like a sequence. i used to be majorly into fantasy, loved the "wheel of time" series by robert jordan, but now im into more stuff like action/drama and stuff. im reading some john grisham as well, he has some amazing books. just finished the pelican brief, i loved it.
