A person following the pursuits of civil life, especially one who is not an active member of the military or police.
O yes, the mothers of sons and daughters valiantly defending our country are extremely happy, perhaps you've heard of Cindy Sheehan. She has been camping out in front of Bush's Crawford ranch to hear exactally WHY her son died in Iraq. She has been there since the beginning of August, asking to speak to the president, and get a legitimate reason for her son's death. He still hasn't talked to her directly, almost 2 months later, wow, he really has done a lot for us, especially for her.
Source, as well as the New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle.
Onto FEMA and the government in this disaster.
Yum. Bush tells Brownie he's doing great, then sends him back to Washington, he doesn't fire him, just sends him back to Washington, which is like firing, but I digress. He failed at his job, that's why he was removed.Quote:

Federal Emergency Management Agency Director Michael Brown is being removed from his role managing Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, NBC News and The Associated Press reported Friday.
Two federal officials who wouldn't be identified told the AP that Brown is being sent back to Washington from Baton Rouge, La. He was the primary official overseeing the federal government's response to the disaster. NBC learned the same thing from a relief official.
Mystikal, yes, President Bush did give a well done speech Thursday, very well written...O WAIT! He doesn't write his speeches, sorry, my mistake. It may have been a well done speech, but it was over a week after the disaster itself. If you remember, he practically walked onto ground zero and hugged a fireman, but now he can't get down and dirty and hear some real stories of how people don't have water, food, shelter, anything?
Octane, your comment is bullshit.
Not only is the 2nd question gramatically incorrect, it is just bullshit. He is PAID to do a "decent job for the US," and he is also responsible for "getting us through these tragic effents," I'm not. And last time I checked, he isn't the one that runs the US, that would make this a dictatorship, not a democracy.Quote:
Could you have gotten us through these tragic events?
Are you capable of even doing a decent job for the US?
Back to Kanye West's statement that George Bush does not care about black people.
Percent white in New York city:67.9% US census
Percent black in New Orleans:67.3% US census
Don't you love facts? I think that that does some major explaining right there, almost equivalent percentages, and lets look at the reaction of our president.
New York:
Goes on the ground of the terrorist attack, does his own work, inspects the scene.
New Orleans:
Flys above it at 20,000 feet, inspecting the damage from the safety and comfort of Air Force One.
No shit it was photoshopped, like he would be on the ground at New Orleans, it was fake, and doesn't look realistic. Get a job man, no one took it seriously that Bush would go fishing there. It's also a freshwater fish.Quote:

If you study the lighting closely you can tell.
Why would bush be wearing sun glasses on a rainy day?
why isn't there a shadow on the rest of their chest part of the jackets, when the sun is coming in from behind them (you can tell by the reflection of light in the water?
Also, in bushes sunglasses you see what is the rest of the boat, and then you see lots of water and some trees, almost as if he's at a lake.
O ya, and not to mention that the fish couldn't live in the waters filled with decaying corpses, human feces, and who knows what else. Of course that's hard to say, knowing how much our president has done for the environment, they've probably gotten used to it.
Next time, state your sources, it makes you a lot more credible.
