tell you the truth...smudge, abstract and grunge...well most styles are getting old, everytime there is a new style it is overused and becomes boring. Heh im waiting for vector sigs to start popping up again lol. :P

I was okay with the vector trend because I was the only one doing real vectors. =p Though I wouldn't mind seeing some good vector tags every once in awhile.

And agreed about how everything gets old. Which is why we all need to try new things, even myself. I mean I've made a few mock grunge sigs here lately for god sakes. Which is just me trying new things. Also I think that alot of people need to stop calling smudge sigs this type of thing. Really just like every tool smudge work can be using in any kind of sig and not just in this ugly style. Mix it with your grunge sigs or render sigs, then maybe throw some vector work in. Just keep mixing all the styles and making new styles and it should keep things at least somewhat interesting for awhile.

Sorry if I sounded like it was bitching at you or something..It really had very little to do with you. The rant just happened to be in your thread, which I'm sorry for. Its not bad that you tried it(Its probably a good thing) and I don't have a problem with it (Not like it matters if I did or not)..I was just making more of a wide open statement to everyone that does this style now, or atleast has changed their style to just this...because about half the board has now.

Though my comment still stands about the style and everything else I said.

this isnt my style. i just wanted to try it so i me one and gave it as a gift.

i think that sig looks real good.
