No, I think that's better than the original one. The render isn't the best quality or the worse, just in the middle. Blend the render in more near the edges and more depth in the BG. Try some levels/curves/brightness and contrast. It's getting better!

I don't think they have a specific tutorial on teaching you how to add more depth, at least I haven't seen one. Personally, I'd tell you to try out the brightness and contrast first, it's a bit easier. And I don't think you really need a tutorial on that, just mess around with the settings of the curves/levels and you'll get the hang of it.
Just don't go overboard with the contrast though!

OK, I had another go and I think it's a little better
In one thread. I'm still stunned by the quality of the sigs here. Me, Volant and Hombre are the top sig makers at another board we post on. I was blown away when I came here.
