Im pretty sure he does not have money for a 6800 gt 0_0 He should aim for the 9800's or 9600 xt's for ati and a 5700 to 6200 for nividia.
best thing you can do i think is go to this site and check the benchmarks for the cards that you would like. then you know what you can expect of the cards...
