It doesn't seem like you did very much. You've got a small cropped pic of the album cover, then a larger one on a lower opacity with some grunge erasing maybe. You may have done more, but it doesn't seem like it. And I like the original cover better.
I think doing something like this would work better for an album cover that wasn't as heavily edited as Duets was.
