the purpose of a vector is to simplify an image, whether that is making it look cartoonish or w/e.
This is obviously really good but like elektrik said it takes away the vector feeling.

@ the vector, dude, for a beginner, it's very very good!
the face is nice detailed.. now work more on his pants.. the shapes have to much contrast with eachother. try to lower that contrast.
btw, do you have msn?
