I used to use Outlook a lot - but I quit using it after every few emails I got were laced with virii. Outlook is very vunerable to hackers, and if you don't keep your computer (persumably windows xp) - you will have a huge problem.
Stick to webmail - its a lot safer.

Didn't you forget plain old Mozilla? I'm using Firefox/Mozilla 1.4/IE, depending on my mood.

depends on what you want it for. if you need a news reader, i wouldn't. if you need to manage multiple email accounts, then i would. Outlook Express is still a lot better product overall, so if your happy with what you have, i would stick with it untill a few new versions are made.

If you have a decent virus scanner you probaly shouldn't have to worry about email virii. I use outlook express because it's integrated with my desktop monitoring app. I've got nothing against thunderbird, I just don't see any real pro's to using it over outlook express.
Firefox give me a warm tingly feeling in my tummy. It's horrible trying to code though. Because I just natuarally check everything in firefox, then when I finish and take a look in IE my pages are obliterated. It's like all the web browser development teams got handed different copies of W3C's standards.
