hmmm im no expert... far from it but the bg to me looks very plain compared to the render but i love the snowboard 1 :)

Alright man i'll take that into account, but that's kind of the style im going for here, clean and simple.
Here's the same sort of techniques but with a cartoon image, i think it works better with the cartoon image.
