Yea well you know what they say, "Practise Makes Perfect" ;) :p
you could blen it a little more and the text stands out a bit ( i cant gice any advice on that tho i suck at text lol) where did you get that render though i would love to use it
well theres the problem. it definitely sounds like your not nearly spending enough time on it. you gotta experiment with filters, brushes, smudging, pen tooling. you learn a lot from just experimenting with these things. i just finished making a sig and i got 36 layers. soo you need to spend alot more time with your work. you need to spend more then 30 minutes on it.
I did spend more than half an hour on it, don't forget you cna merge layers. ;) Thanks for the advice though, I do need to work on brushes, smudging etc. I am fairly new to the whole GFXing stuff so at the moment I'm just experimenting to find a style I'm comfortable with.
thats ok. but why merge your layers? you shouldnt merge them unless your sure you DONT want to change anything about them. the more you merge the less you can change later on. I posted 3 of my tutorials on here if you would like to take a look at them.
Oh, no I never actually merged any layers ^^ I was just saying you can merge layers that's why I put "the cheeky ;)" haha. I will take a look. Thanks.
no problem, +rep if i helped :-p
The spiderman text isn't bad - but it's an obvious choice. Text below it isn't really nice. But it could be the choice of colour that is effecting the way people view it... try messing around.
Don't see any real lighting to it sorry, looks very dark.
Render is place nicely, and with work you could make it into a nice signature.
Any suggestions on the comments you've given me? I'm not sure how to do lighting. :| Need to look at some tutorials, this was mainly to play around with the C4D's. I'm just messing around with certain parts of things then eventually will combind it all in to one signature.
