Hmm, it's a not a must to use your current applied image as a clipping mask. You can paste your render once more and smudge it about till you get a something nice to use as a clipping mask.
Ah, you darkened the BG. Text is more readable now. Maybe try adding a light source? Sig looks a bit dark. Overall, V3 looks good. Haha!
Imo, I don't think you need to add anything more to it. The emptiness kinda works for me. Or rather, it doesn't feel empty to me now. However, it's still a little too simple for a superhero sig though. That guy looks like a superhero to me anyway.

Try using a larger version of that C4D (I'm assuming you shrunk the one you're using), and have a bit of that on there, maybe blend a little of it in. If not, try using a backdrop, like a city or something, and blur it etc. so that it creates a bit of depth.

I actually didnt resize the c4d, it was quite small.
Ill work on a version 4 tomorrow, kinda busy at the moment :D
