As you can see, on the render, the light comes from 2 places, try to achive that in ur tag, and the brown-orange-is light source, make it white, i think it will look better.
Sharpen him a bit, and remove those 2 dots on his right shoulder.
Oh yea, and i totaly go with v1, much more going on on the right side.
i think its an all round brilliant sig and the effect around the hand is awesome man
