Exactly how would I change what I said? Giving him pointers would be "change everything that you did" which would be both a waste of my time and his because art isn't something that can be told, you have to figure that out yourself. So instead I focused on what he did wrong, which was a much shorter list. It was the one thing he did, jsut run it through a topaz filter. To me running someone else's photo (assuming it is actually a stock and not a copyrighted image) through a filter and calling it your own is a borderline rip. He needed to know that wasn't acceptable. I made that perfectly clear. You may disagree with my method, but the point I made comes across crystal clear.
Nutter, refer to my response PM. It explains in greater detail what I've said here. Also, I'd assume you gave everyone calling me an idiot a warn as well considering at no point did I call anyone any names yet managed to get a warn. I trust you are competant enough to enforce all the rules instead of just singling one person out though.

I do believe that you did not do the right thing in the ways that you have posted. As I have said in my PM, you were sarcastic and rude. It was only after people stood up for Bones that you decided to go ahead and humiliate him in attempt of showing him off as a cheap artist.
I do disagree with your method, and it is crystal clear what your final achievement was. The Achievement is that you have now turned away a valued, helpful member from the Void. A member that has helped many others (including myself) in improving their skills.
I hope that these problems do not occur on a regular basis.
As for my role in enforcing the rules of the Void, I do believe that I have done the right for the improvement of this forum. I see that some of these comments may have been uncalled for, but these comments do seem like they were the result of previous, imperfect statements.
I could argue that my first comment was the result of an "imperfect statement" in the first part where a person posted "art" that was actually a topaz filtered image someone else took. With that I see no difference in the statements by myself as opposed to the people who posted toward me except for the fact that they took it a step further and used personal insults. Figures though that since you're on their side you can't objectively enforce the rules.
