the best tip I can give you is to check out the tutorial section on this site or do a little searchin on google/images: www.google.com for something like "photoshop tutorials for beginners" or "depth tutorial" or whatever you want to learn how to improve. find a good tutorial for what you are looking for, and read the tutorial, follow along with them to learn how to get the desired effects you are looking for, then move onto novice level tutorials, then moderate, then advanced, and eventually pro level tutorials once you have learned all the steps in making sigs etc. I would say ur at solid beginner level right now, but it won't be long till ur better. it would take too long to explain all the stuff u need to know in this post. so just check out tutorials on specific things u need to know. ur sigs have good colors right now tho, keep that up.
Thanks DOMINO! That was encouraging. Here are some of my newest:

Anybody response ?
BUMP :(
The first one is good, but I think a vector style would have been more fitting for the render.
The second one is good as well, but the text placement could use some work.
The third is decent, just get rid of the noise on the left, get rid of the stuff on Kirby's face and get rid of that ball of light near the upper right.
The 4th is nice, but it could use a bit of work. The flow is a bit wild.
The 5th is probably the best, as the flow is smooth, the colors go great with each other, and the effects are pretty good, too.
Thanks. Will work on it. What about the newest one I hav posted?
They're pretty nice, but for the first one, try to sharpen the focal point and the effects up a bit, and use a simpler font next time. Decorative text distracts the viewer from the focal point.
As for the second one, it's pretty nice, albeit a bit dark. Try to see if you can brighten it up a bit, maybe add some lighting, blur the background a bit and sharpen the focal point.
I bet you already found a good way to make depth now, right, Xeno?
Well, I guess I can still say the way I do it..
Glowing Edge, go to Filter/Stylize/Glowing Edges, put on Soft Light, and do the modifications that you need. (Opacity, erasing the things that need to ( most )
And about the new ones, I gree with Jool, the focal needs to be sharpened on the first one.
You need to work on the text too.. Look here: http://www.tutorialized.com/tutorial...Text-Effects/1
Oh ok thx! Anymore suggestion ?
