well it could be a 10/10:D (or a 9 at least)
it looks a little bit LQ. try to erase some parts that are to sharpened.
and change the color of ur text. that should be good:D.

oh and the shadow on the sig ive notcied that the sides are curved but the shadow is not try to fix that and it would look ok.

Nah im not. I'm trying to get him to design a signature (Since i am a graphic designer and typographer by trade) and get him to push his creativity rather than lapse into this comfortable method of following the same format of what everyone else is doing

Dude/Chick/Thing in the centre or to the left/right >> heavily filtered background.

Filters can be cool, but art and design doesn't rely on them, :)
