This isn't a bad effort at all. The colors are good, flow isn't too bad and is overall a good sprite. The text however needs sorting out big time. It's nice don't get me wrong, but it just doesn't fit with this type of design. I suggest removing the unnecessary text at the bottom and putting it in place of the main text. I would also concentrate on sorting the quality of the effects. That is a big deal in sprites.
