The Advent Children game you speak of is for PSP i believe and the PS3 video was just a tech demo. No remake scheduled as of now.
I'm pretty sure Avant Children is for mobile phones only, I'm about 90% sure about that. I'd personally rather see some new, good RPGs coming out for handhelds and such, rather than re-releases or remakes.
