It's a pretty old form of storytelling, really. It's just been made into a more advanced game at this point through the usage of the internet and such. It's pretty fun if you're doing it with some decent writers, and they're all active.

Yeah roleplaying is based off a generic backround story that gives you a set table of rules and whatnot, then you make your character and join a story. It's kinda fun if you have a very active imagination and also have the patience and grammar skills to actually type out what you are imagining.

I used to rp on a couple star wars forums =P. Such nerdier days haha.

I havn't roleplayed in years but it was really fun when you found a good active story. I think my english has been going down hill ever since I stopped lol.
