Personaly I'm not happy with the graduated curved lines prefered it when it was a solid, the text needs antialising, and the 'Enter' text is not clear.
But overall mate it rocks.

hehe, thats just my opinion mate. personaly I dont like the layers of waves, but that is only my opinion, see what everyone else says first :D
The GFXVOID text looks like it needs antialising or something, its looks jaggered.
damn, maybe you should try and do something for my site, yours looks soo clean.
[edit] i reckon you have got antialising on, just the angles with so narrow a text makes it look jaggard, not sure how to fix something like that other than dont go for something as tall [/edit]
Yea, i don't like it either. Also he's right, the enter text is a li'l blurry as well.

This is what I got now. The waves in the upper wave are just quick ones, they're not so clear as in another site im making with 2-intenze(maybe i can copy them, they're really smooth!)
What do I've to edit on this one? The text? And more idea are welcome!

I like the simple, solid one the most. Very unique concept mate, I enjoy it a lot.
Personally I Like the ones with teh siloulettes *spelling?* TacoX You should use it for the home page *www.gfxvoid.com* Would be real nice. You gus should make a tutorial on vectors...
he didn't use Vectors Tenchido, he just cut em out, I presume using the select tool. I've seen quite a few tuts on how to do that.
But personaly thats not how I do it as you can't change it once you have done it, I normaly make custom shapes from paths so that I can change em if I wish.
The most recent looks good mate, the text is looking a lot better. still prefer the orig single colour for the wavey inside bit though :D
btw, dont let the bed bugs bite :P
That's not true...I only used the same colors from a screenshot, and I took the same size. But I made everything myzelf! With linetool, pentool, gradient tool and much more. I didn't copy/paste ANYTHING, only the colors...Quote:

But what is de different between vectoring and making shapes with selecting tool and path tool?

it's ok, but not right for an enter screen. I'm sorry but that doesnt look like a splash at all. :P. also, metal didnt say you cut and pasted stuff, he said you just cut it out which is what you did.
