ok this is how i put renders into cs4. i go to file>open>and i choose the image. it then comes up as like a tab at the top. like there is a gray bar that comes up at the top and it shows like all of the different pages and stuff.
when i choose the image, it comes up as a seperate tab. and to put the image into the background as a new layer and stuff, i need to drag the tab down so it becomes a little box with the render/image in it.
im then able to drag the render into the background layer and like resize it and scale it and stuff. m i doing everything right so far or is it like different or a much easier way to do this stuff?
yea check out that first download to see the c4d that is like the explosion and then check out the second download which is like wut u were talking about.
idk if i made everything much more clearer to understand. if not, any more questions? cause i mean i think i did a little more to clear it up to explain.

Ohh k. Well first off I have never used File -> Open to open a render or c4d. So I don't know why that would happen. I think the best way is to go to My Computer and go to the folder with your renders/c4ds and set the display mode to Filmstrip. That way you can see them all without them being little thumbnails. Then use the right click Open With --> Choose Program. Thats the best advice I can give because that's what I do every single time and it works for me.
