Distinguished members are people that give really good and informative feedback to people or help out in an exceptional way. It's basically a thanks for being a supportive member and what I like to think of as the opposite to being Banned.

The reason why 5 is the max is because the image count also includes the smileys. Therefore 5x :) would max out the image count.

I put the max limit on because we had some people adding 5+ sigs and taking up way too much space.
