they both have great smudging and blending and good use of colors 1 stone has great depth and lighting and 2nd one i feel could use contrast feels it lacks a bit. but again the colors and blending in the 2nd is pretty awesome. gj kiu hun

I would have made the border on the first one a bit smaller as well as dark like Kritez said. Als the other thing kind of bugging me about the first one is the Blur on the hilt of the sword by his head. Over it's a great tag with great flow and lighting. And like everyone else said go easy on the topaz. :P
Topaz is a great tool, when you use it just right and don't over do it.
I think the boarder of the first should go a little darker, I really like how you have created depth with it, but I feel it is a little too blurred.
I really luv the colours and the feel of the second one but I feel her hand and gun feel too pulled away or not so smooth blended. I would only suggest fixing up that hand by bringing some of it back :D

I like the first one, like everyone else the depth on it is great. The second one feels boring to me.
