Definitely work with the gradient effect. It would add more emphasis to the "good vs. evil" theme you've got going on. I agree with taco that the font is quite weak, but the image is quality. Good work.
Good lil mix w/ da 2 colors...but choose different colors tho, the purpleish n redish color makes the sig look kinda bright....and the image of the sig look like its pose to b dark n gloomy. (cant mix both)
