honestly I disagree 100% with the people telling you to use the burn/dodge tool. the point of having a tablet is it paint/sketch digitally, and if you want to paint you need to start developing a mastery of tints and shades of colors. burn and dodge to not work on paintings, work instead on developing and eye for color changes and how to change the colors to get your shadow and highlight effects.
