But if u threw like a contest for it then it might work but you would have to get new ppl to join it and show you there work at the start of the month and the improvement at the end of the month

I think we hand out enough medals as it is, tbh.

Improvement should be it's own reward, seeing present stuff you made compared your early works. If there's a difference in the two you should feel proud, if not then it should just be motivation to work harder on becoming a better artist.

I'll admit getting an award is a good feeling, but getting positive feedback from CnC can be just as effective, so I don't really see the need for this particular award/medal.

I agree with Apafail. If the only reason people want to excel in any form of art is to get awards and praise then they should turn around a leave the void.

why would you tell people to leave isn't the point to bring more people in to keep the site active ? any ways i didn't here nothing yet from the mods yet like nutter and dm
like to see what they think i kinda like oaths idea best from mine . make it a tournament.

No, the point of this site isn't just to bring people in. It's about creating a community of people that learn from each other to get better with their artworks. We don't need people who just want to get good to get awards and be called awesome.
