"History is graveyard of elites"
I've heard that too, but it's not neccissarily true. Just because you win doesn't mean you'll survive. And if you don't survive, then you're not exactly around to put your 2 cents in when it comes time for the history books to be published hehQuote:

I think the correct one (although I may be incorrect) is "history is written by winners"

A Wise Man Sees Failure as Progress, a Fool divorces his knowledge and misses the logic..
Personaly I have always liked the one that goes:
Sh*t Happens
Also of course classic ones that impart much wisdom are the words:
don't worry, be happy
And having been married, I love the quote from the movie True Lies by Tom Arnold:
Women, can't live with em, can't kill em
On a more serious note i've always appreciated the truth and simplicity in the phrase:
Women give sex for love and men give love for sex
Its a bit of a generalisation but in western society in the general hetrosexual community, I beleive its pretty accurate.
i use first one of yours alot metal

"The Expressions of the face do not always reveal the Constructions of the mind."
Meaning:
The expressions that you get from people and the way they act may not be how they are atually feeling or actually think.
There are 2 that I use a lot....both have the words "Duct Tape" in them too. lol
" Duct Tape is like the force. It has a light side, and a dark side, and it holds the universe together."
"If its broke, duct tape it!"
meaning for both: when in doubt, use duct tape! It will help, no matter what situation your in. Trust me, i know from experience. Gotten me out of plenty of jams.
how can duct tape help you study for exams?
how can duct tape help ya with love problems
-proving your words are wisdom are wrong
"Rely not on the teacher/person, but on the teaching. Rely not on the words of the teaching, but on the
spirit of the words. Rely not on theory, but on experience.Do not believe in anything simply because you
have heard it. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. Do
not believe anything because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything because it is
written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and
elders. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is
conducive to the good and the benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it."
