Logos

Its been awhile since I have been to this site and I make a lot of logos. Yes, simple is the way to go, look at the Nike logo, everyone knows it, and its simple. But, I have learned you can make a complex logo, I normally will draw it out by hand first, then making it simpler as I go.

I think Logo's in the graphic world are probably the hardest thing to do due to how many there are in the world. Its extremely difficult to come up with a new and original idea.
Completely agree on the basics approach though, I mean sometimes even just type works perfectly - take the Sony logo for example.
