I don't like how the effects around her seem really messy and how they go over the moon, i think you should of made them in a kind of circular overall shape around her.
Apart from that it's nice.
@Applej: it's the manner in which he said it, or didn't you notice that?
Version 2 is much better with the overall feel of the image. I like what you've done here but the image lacks depth IMO since the 3d effects engulf the bottom half of the image. I would try opening up bits and creating more of a background so that it really emphasizes the size of the planet.
