I noticed that too but the requester didn't want any other colours but red and black really so I didn't know how to do that.
Probably could have soft brushed or something looking back tbh.
Really liking the idea for the orbs man. So you pretty much mean like make the light sort of reflect on him? I'll do that next time for sure!

sorry it took me so long to respond... Well more really depends on your style. Me personally I love clipping masks in works like this... especially with all the dark its a chance to add a little contrast. Or maybe some smudging to help with his blending :)... perhaps even toss some new shades of red in there just to give it more dynamic :)
