matching is in the eye of the beholder, contrast can be good sometimes.

refrain from fitting the "box" that some of the artists here have put sigs into.
the orange and purple have a nice feel and obviously you wouldnt have chosen those colours if you didnt think it looked good.

As far as your remakes, the 2nd one is better I feel, but i still prefer the original.
Good work though man, i love the idea, usually the popouts here are some game render and a brushed background, my own included lol well done mate, keep it up.

They both look alot better, the colour scheme is better for me in the first :D

i actually like the contrast between the blue/purple an the orange i think blue and orange go well with each other, all this "it needs to be different" junk just kind of weird but i can see where you're coming from and i prefer the first re-make :D nice job

Blue and orange go together just fine. Those were the colours of my hockey team when I was playing rep... then I moved into high school and went white/green/gold. Another option would be to slightly change the hue of each the render and the background. Make the render more purple and the background more yellow. That'll match brilliant...ly.... as they are opposites.

quite frankly the first one is the best to me, orange and purple do work.

the first one looks nice eventhough it doesnt match. try inverting colours of blue and u'll get orange i think :P. nice job mate
