StarCraft:BroodWar .. best game ever .... thats how I met my wife actually :P (During LAN tournament ... She got 2nd place to me :D )
Other then that, GTA:Vice City is good .. I haven't got GTA:SA yet ...

HAlf life 2, are you guys serious. That game was weak, I mean sure the graphics where nice but original had better gameplay and a decent storyline. Halflife 2 gameplay was bad and had a storyline that wouldn't have made the grade on a budget tv sci-fi show.
Half-life 1 and all the add ons, Counter-Strike for Xbox and partly PC and if anyone else says Halo i will have to come and kill you. Yeah sure single players it ok but multiplayer! cant stand the beast, i used to be really good at it but got sick of the noobs so switched to Counter-Strike which actually needs skill :)

Theres alot of brilliant games out now, too long of a list. Tetris is probably my favorite game of all though.

StarCraft, by quite a bit. I've been playing it for some 7 or 8 years now, and any game that can keep someone like me hooked for that long is extremely damn good.

Star Craft, possibly still the best RTS ever made.
Pokemon Red and Blue. it basicly introduced the RPG style gameplay that this generation is in love with.
Half Life. With out it there would be no CS, DoD, or any of the mods made for it. It also perfected the FPS Adventure, by giving it a story and made you feel as if you were gordon freeman.
Harvest Moon 64. I love that game to bits. So many possibilities.... such a great waste of time.

the best game ever created, for xb, i personaly think ghost recon 2, like guys c`mon the gfx on that game seem so real, if u havent played it, play it trust me, i personaly think this is the best game ever, because hte grahpics seem so real, and like when ur playing u feel like ur actually in the game, but i cant wait for gr3, gfx on that, all i can say is WOW, like gr2 is the best war game ever, gfx wise, game play, and etc, even the guns seem relistic, like its just amazing

personally, i hope game developers take a step back and look at the games made during the 90s. even though they dont have the graphics, they are still more fun to play, and more inovative then any game today.

anything by square-enix (former squaresoft) got to say the best two where ffvii and ff3, worst ff8 carnt believe they thought they could even make a storyline that bad, and ffx-2 come on charlies angels DOES NOT belong in the ff series i carnt stress how those two final fantasies cannot compete with ff7 and ff3.
planetside has got to be the best fps i have everplayed, come on have you ever had a planetscale war online against thousands of players, with 3 empires each with different vehicles armor and weapons. also got a good storyline if you read the manual about before the war
world of warcraft and everquest2 pretty nice mmorpgs good gameplay, emmerse world, pretty good graphics.
halflife1 and 2 rock and counterstrike. bf2 looks cool havent got it yet, played the others though and they were like omg cool.
halo 1 and 2 are like awsome i love these games and can play it over and over (and can whip anyones ass at this game *stares at deadloader and his bro*)
has anyone ever played dungeon keeper, i loved that game. i used to make my own maps on the editor and have a big battle, one of the hardest games to get to be online, and anno hehehe a classic game.
but you carnt forget sonic the hedgehog, ever single one of his games are cool, i know the earlier ones was just press right and you would go through the whole game, but it helped shape all other games in the world. aswell as mario except i think sonic could wip his ass. go chaos control!!!!!!
oh yeah thanks undertone you have the same opinion as me, if you want graphics go to gf void if you like plots and stuff look at the classic games of the 90s

Im glad I saw Gunstar Heros mentioned.. That is a really hard game.
My favorite game is made by the devlopers of Gunstar Heros, Treasure, called Ikaruga. Though, I really really doubt any of you have ever played it and/or even heard of it X_X.
Coming in at a close second is God Of War. That game has to be one of the most amazing I have ever played.
To finish off my top 3.. I'll say Katamari Damacy. Come on, theres gotta be someone else that loves that game on here. And no, Im not a stoner :P (If you played the game you SHOULD get what Im saying.)
