Yeah Mass Effect looks pretty cool. Plus its a Bioware game which means it would probably be pretty good. My only problem is I don't really know how I feel about all these new RPG's that are doing the multi edition games. I mean like Xenosage. I mean I love spending hours and hours diving into the story of a game and trying to find everything I can in it...but do I really want to wait 5 or 6 years or maybe even longer to find out the ending. >_<
Plus yeah I've always wanted to play Jade Empire so if I can run it I'll probably get it at some point for my computer. Have you seen anything about KOTOR 3 game yet? I was kind of hoping they would say something about it at E3 but I guess not. >_<

and to be honest, yes, some of the shooters play better on the 360, but i just think thats the only good games they have. And a few RPGs, but compared to the Sony list of RPGs, the 360 loses. There are so many types of RPGs, so if someone likes one type, the 360 may not have it. The PS2 had like 20 different types of RPGs for all fans :)

Technically based on that list it would be the best overall, correct. There was an article to go along with the list and it said basically that PS3 is for power, Xbox 360 for online and Rev for games. I am definately getting a Rev. Its going to have a lower price than the other 2 and GREAT games. Can you say ZELDA ON REV? lol. Nintendo always has the lower power specs than the others but it always uses all of its power and has the greatest games.
i think the 360 and the ps3 will both be great systems, and if i could afford it i would get both, but cant so i had to make a choice, so i chose the 360 and although i dont have one yet, i will get one as soon as i can.
i dont really care about graphics, tbh i think the best games were made on the older consoles when the grahics really werent good, but the gameplay was amazing.
then i looked at games, and the 360's lineup appealed to me more. it has some great shooters, and that racers and some fighting games is all i play. and although ps3 has those types of games too, i love the ones coming for 360 and i like the 360 controller more than the ps3's and think it works much better for shooters and racing games.
then i thought about and i just know xbox live will always dominate over ps3's. ps3's may be free, but i think the cost for xbox live is well worth it.

Calling Microsoft whores? Sony is charging like $500 for the base system for the PS3. Tell me that's not whorish. And I love how you say that PS3's online will be 95% the same as xbox live. And yes, Sui is right. 360 already has a base of online gamers playing the games that they whore it up and they will be playing for the next year even when PS3 comes out.

um a LOT of the content on marketplace is FREE.. the only stuff that costs money SHOULD cost money (games, significant add-ons, themes).. some themes are free, but depending on the game, they aren't, and that's the game developer's choice, not microsoft's.
and yes sony's price is outrageous, i agree with myst. it's minutely more powerful than the 360, if hardly at all, and they think they can just charge that much more? The only reason they are is because they know they can, they have a strong fanbase in Japan and the US and they know people will give into their prices. Some games really excite me about the PS3, but either i'll get the 360 version which is just as good, or just forget about the game altogether. I don't need to spend another 600 dollars for a few new games

What do you think they should of spent the time improving instead of adding a the Blu-ray then?
I mean I would spend the extra 200 bucks for one instead of waiting and spending 1,000 on a Blu-ray player when it becomes the norm. Which at some point it probably will be.

and ck, i say they should have released the console or rather just drop the blu-ray idea. they would have had a more timely release date, as they missed out on some oppertunities, and the console would have been cheaper. i said what i did because i don't see myself ever really NEEDING a blu-ray player, so buying one just to have one, because i can get one cheaper than by itself, would just be foolish
last i actully heard, the 360's HD player wasnt even there...?

Im so stoaked for the ps3 looks insanly tight, im lookin forward to SOCOM 4, WWE: SDVR2007, Assassins Creed umm tats about it for now till i get some more info on some releases but yeah ps3 an xbox360 are both awsome, im excite to buy both :D
The PS3 plays pretty damn awesome. I was lucky enough to be able to get out of school for E3, so I spent a couple days playing it. The controller is pretty nice. I can't wait for Marvel's Ultimate Alliance. Everything about the PS3 is sexy, other than the price, but I find that justified.
The Wii was more fun though... (excite truck, whut...)
