What brush are you using for the smudging? I got all the other settings the same as you but can't find anything similar.
I'm using photoshop CS3
Since he doesn't seem to be active anymore, is there anyone that can tell me which brush to use for the smudging?
(i suck at smudging, really wanna get better with it)
love this tut!

:)
the brush you can use is a 46 pix splatter, but it is not the brush, but the brush settings that make it work..
to make a brush like his high light: brush tip shape and set it like mine.

you can play with the angle and roundness as well, but don't overdo that!
all other settings are the same as in his tut!!
hope this helped!!
good luck!

Thank you for this share! I appreciate it very much. :)
I followed your tutorial but I guess I messed up a lot of stuff on the way so here is my results:

great tutorial though.
i think the lightning behind him doesn't work. good smudging. add some effects in front to add depth and to liven it up. the colorscheme is not what i would do, but that is personal. someone else might say that the colors are perfect lol!!
text placement near a border is not the best of places. rules of thirds work most of the times. good job! keep 'm coming!!
THANKS ~
NICE Tut
here was out come. thanks for the tut
