I think you both did something on the adjustment steps that made it very over saturation, therefore the very dark blue look.

Tatsujin you did very well on the purple effects. My only suggestion, except from the saturation, is that the neck of the dragon is very white bright, try to tone it down. Good job!

Tonton the dragon looks very squeezed, did you hold down the "shift" key while you resized it. The shift key keep the right proportions (ratio) of the image while resizing it. You got a nice background and a big majestic frame. Looking good ;)

Thanks, I downloaded the resource pack, but I meant if the c4d originally came in a pack. I asked this since it was titled effect(425) or something.

Aha i see.

I've downloaded alot of different packs and then mixed them all together in one map, so I can't keep track on which pack they come from in the end ^u^

Search for packs on deviantART.

Ah well, thanks lol. I'll go see if I can find some more packs I like. I have a few, but I don't really like them that much lol.

Ok, i've finished, it's not great, but i'm pleased with the outcome, and remember, i used GIMP (oh an i wasn't sure about text, so i put something small that didn't ruin it):

It's a little dark and blurry. Try sharpen it and add some adjustment layers (brighten it up).

Why not take the step to ps now that you've learned the basics in gimp ^u^

Because im only 13 and i can't afford PS, also, just to say now, i have a really bad cold, and feel pretty ill, so its not great, i will try make a V2

Simplicity I would recommend you to remove the white lines on the side and the gaussian blur behind the sig. I think the rest looks good, might be a little blurry which could be corrected with sharpen.

Mina looking good and fun to see that you've added your own touches. Might be a little over contrasted and suturation, and move the text a little closer to the render.

I'm no good at text so making a tut on that is not an option :) And a tut with more effects. We will just have to see what I might come up with in the future ^u^

i want to do this tutorial even tho it does look a little complicated but ill give it a try. i do have a question however. how do i make the dragon with the pen tool? thats something i dont really know how to do with it. is there like a picture tool that u used or wut?

Noppe, just use the pen tool to create paths and try to make it look like a dragon, then just fill the path.

Awsome tutorial radillac! I play eve online (internet spaceships :D) and unfortunatly most of the ships are pretty dull so incorporating them into a sig can be a challenge. But I found your tut and it seemed like a great way to blend in a ship with a nice background. So here's my outcome....tried to customize it to better fit the color scheme of the ship I used (gold/darkgrey)

I'm stuck atm on a font for text and I think i'm going to crop it a little at the bottom plus the border but otherwise its fini. Thanks again for the great tutorial!

You did a pretty good job on blending the ship in and the colors are good too. I think the bottom part is a little to bright, might wanna tone it down so the focus is brought more to the upper part or the sig. Yeah croping it a bit would work.

And one last little thing, you got a white line in the upper right corner, might wanna get rid of that one.

Other than that it's great. Good job and I'm looking forward to see the version with text in it.

Interesting tutorial. I will post my decent outcome soon.

In my opinion it's very bright and white which makes it a bit flat. I would suggest you to play around some more with the adjustment layers to implant a tad more colors. And try to bring out the focal more.

The text color stands out to much, try to use one of the colors from the rest of the sig or apply a clip mask. Make the text bigger and you might want to try a simpler and more regular font.

However the sig is very smoot and brings a calm to the viewer. Good job and I would love to see some more colors ^u^

Yeah it's pretty decent, not much to complain about except the text. Bring the characters closer together (change the tracking) and move it closer to the focal. Other than that it's pretty good, well done on the adjustments ;)
