I like it :)
But you've to blend the render more. Place the c4d also in front of the render.
And place a lightning source in the sig. Create some goo dlightning with the burn and dodge tool.

Nice outcome simplicity.
I think you need to work on your lightning.

I'm really liking the aoutcome mate.
lightning is def a strong point here.
I would just erase a bit of the edge of venom's left 9for us right) shoulder
so you get a better blending.
But Good job on following the tut :D
