I've been wanting to get a tattoo for a while but I need to make sure I get one for the right reason. I don't want to get one because it looks cool but because it represents something that's important to me. What looks cool will eventually be replaced by another design but something of sentimental value will always have the same value to me if it's truly important.

If I got one I'd want to get a sleeve of a phoenix on me. I've loved the phoenix since I can remember because of the rebirth. It's the way I see life: we die a little bit every time when we make choices we regret but the next day we are reborn in order to redeem ourselves. Only problem with it is that I haven't really seen too many designs I like.

Just thought of getting glow in the dark wings tattooed so as to say that in the darkest placed you go in life there is still an angel around. In my life I feel as though there has been an angel guiding me thus far so this would be a tribute to it.

I was Bored in Class so i sketch a flame design on my wrist....:D

Wow, I LOVE how you worded your reasoning behind the phoenix, and the wings, I am going to have to relay that to my friend, who will go nuts over it.

I find the best designs, are ones you make yourself, so just start doodling phoenix' and wings, and when you make one you like, hold on to it for a few months. If then you still like it, book an appointment, thats what I did for my tattoo I got 7 years ago, and still love it, and I am just waiting the few months on my next design to make sure I still like it as much, or more.
