Well, they say it is currently worse then Hurricane Katrina and any other Hurricane.

Comparing a random trivial explosion caused by a hurricane to a terrorist attack where nearly 3,000 people lost their lives is just wrong, and to say it was worse is just plain asinine. As for the reason why this hurricane is only being talked about hitting America, well the truth is most likely because all those other places it hit are poor or less developed countries and therefore people tend to turn a blind eye to them, sad but true, that's just how society/media works. I'm sure there's plenty of talk around the world about the hurricane and who it affected, it's just not being publicized so we don't hear about it. ...And the reason why America is only being mentioned specifically on this forum is probably because this is a English speaking forum, and a good chunk, if not the majority of people who post on here are from America themselves, so it's only common sense that we'd only be talking about what's just affected some of us...
Hmmm, I see Pandoras point as far as creating this much damage in dollar amounts in a country that is still seeing high un-employment, a crushing decifeit, and a Presidential election between 2 people who are honestly gonna screw up our country even more then it is. As far as comparing to 9/11, think you (Pandora) should stuck to the references of 'Natural Disasters'. But 9/11 could of been prevented as well, and even though a terrible tragedy, a hurricane is not preventable.
Mitt Romney will be better then Obama, but I rather have Ron Paul as the presidential candidate, but what would this country have been with JFK not being assasinated? As far as the hurricane goes, NYC is ruined.
