lol virtue, i swim too.. although my team is a bit crap, we only train twice a week but im pushing for 3 or 4 sessions.

100 free (that's what I'm up on the block for in the pic)- :53.45
100 backstroke (my main event)- 1:02.15
200 free- 2:00.15
200 IM- 2:19.something

I'm not even sure how good those times are. but i'llbet they are 2x faster then what i could do..

hes 3seconds off the womens world record for backstroke.

i'm not fantastic, but i reckon i could hit about 27s for 50m free now.. i havent been timed for a few years, or been to any meets... i wish my school was bigger, we don't have a pool lol.

Haha, thanks. I got a really weird strain of the flu right before our Sectional Meet this year where I was seeded 3rd out of like 150 guys in the backstroke. I had been aiming for at least a low :59 (I had dropped three seconds at that meet each previous year), but I was throwing up blood before the meet, and I qualified 4th, then fell back to 6th in the finals with that time, which was still a personal best.

PS- That top pick where I'm on the block is at the Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis Natatorium, where they hold the National Championships every year, as well as the Olympic Qualifying, at least in '03.

That's right, I peed in the same pool Michale Phelps and Ian Thorpe peed in. You know they all do.

Hmm ive been a good swimmer for years now and i never neven knew it.

I've come up with ways of covering it up. I usually hold it during a race, but during practice when I'm doing the backstroke I usually start letting it out when I flip onto my stomach for a flipturn, continue through the turn, and do an unusually long underwater kick while finishing it off.

Guys aren't the only ones either; some of the chicks on the girls' team say they sit in the gutter on the edge of the pool and pee. Now that's gross. But hey, what goes around comes around.

..lol.
chlorine annihilates pee anyway, so it doesn't really matter. :D

Tobacco is legal because it doesn't atler your state of mind like marijuana.

Pretty much, I dont do drugs but I have friends that do. And they are far from losing passion for life hahaha, heck they seem to love life even more.

true dat, i mean once their campaigns saying marijuana can kill you from just smoking it you directly die, to how it causes you to die tyhrough another process resulting from smoking weed then they started saying how it funds criminals to stop people and then now they've only just found official evidence to say there's a link between it and psychological effects on the mind to scare people off like now it's out there and as if we're going to be fed that shit.. the only reason beer, and smoking isn't illegalised is because it brings in much more money to the government and alot of the government know how addicting and to ban it and make it illegal would cause massive ramifications from the public but because weed is frowned upon by some they feel to keep more power they're punishing you for using it..

Well it does have psychiological effects, definately.

Although if you are able enough to cope with being snappy, or sometimes sketching out, then you're fine.

what about paranoia?
i tried weed a few times. i tripped out a few times... end of story.
but i guess effects would be different for different people.

the paranoia never really gets too bad to loose control, its to weak
