Well Xtreme, I get my info from Gamespot, and despite some of their bad reviews, they have very truthful information in their news articles and system specs ;)

I paid $299 for my PS2 the first week it came out. I think the 360 price is pretty cheap for all the new advanced technology that's in it. A PSP is $250 so maybe a PS3 will be $500 or more.
I doubt it would cost so much if they wish to compete against the pricing of the 360Quote:

were was this? cuz thats a load of bs, cuz all over canada ps2 was 800$ and xb was 600$ and all over the usa it was 500$ for ps2 and 400$ for xb, and +xtreme i get all my info right from the source.
I am still not sure about which console i'm getting for next year. I thought i was gonna be buying the 360 and here i am reading this.. and ps3 is supposed to have more games or something like that, i heard that in e3... well i guess i'll just wait and see.
e3 was show casing the 360 and said to have a vast amount of games playable for online use or single players but then again didn't the ps2 have more games than the xbox anyway it's just a chance of popularity most companies will release games for both ps3 and xbox but over here xb ain't that popular
Anyone who pays over 300 for a gaming system, thats not a computer, has problems.
i spent double that in pounds on a ps2 so quadruple that for us dollars basically :o
Well, deciding on a console shouldnt be able how many games each system has, that would be like saying I like this user better then that user because they have more posts (maybe not QUITE like that, but you should get the idea). It should be about the games you want to play, and know you will play. Quality over quantity is also something to look at.
