i think indians and africans should stop popping out 50 kids :)
but somehow it will even out... people die.. people are born.. the people that are here now (20-39) wont be here in 60-70 years from now so the new people will be lol atleast i hope it evens out haha

I like to look at this particular situation through the eyes of my friend George Carlin. For those of you who don't know George, go stand in the corner. He's a famous comedian. If you listen to his new CD, he talks all about suicide, and how there should be a suicide channel on cable TV. He thinks that people would willingly kill themselves just to be on TV. I would have to agree with him on that point. We could just have a 24/7 TV channel featuring volunteers who commit suicide. People these days (especially in America for some strange reason) would love to watch people killing themselves from the safety of their own homes.

Populations will get out of hand, but then they'll level themselves out. Biology dictacts that each square mile/kilometer can only sustain a certain habitation capacity. Once we max out the usable area's we'll start competing and eventually dying off and the population will reduce significantly.

But there's also other factors that can reduce population quickly. Wars, famine, other environmental disasters. Tsunami's and earthquake's have destroyed many highly populated areas recently and there's a really good chance that they will continue to happen because we abuse the Earth so much. There's been two tsunami's, countless earthquakes and now a war which escalates with each passing day.

We should worry more about the ressources we're losing because of these disasters happening around us, rather than what we use over the next 50 years. A war can wipe out years and years of ressources in months.

You people who say nature will take its course and only some will die don't know anything. Let's say a certain animal likes a type of food but all of the food dies in that general area because of the animals in that area of the same species. It's too far to walk to another place that has the same type of food, so the animals have a few that die so less of the food is eaten, and the food population grows again. Humans control all of this "food" on earth, pretty much. So when this "food" (Resorces and such) runs out, we will all die because we will have killed every spot on earth with that "food".

there is no really problem here it seems there is because of the "baby-boomers" they poped out on avarage 4-5 kids and now them 4-5 kids per cople are reaching middle age and the avarage family size is back down to 2-3 kids so 50-70 years from now when all the baby boomer kids are gone the popualtion will be WAY down back to a reasonable level so in reality there is no problem :cool:

Apparently if you get your arm/leg hair cut off it grows back longer and faster...
